In a society where everyone rode bicycles, the peoples' youth rebelled and sneaked off to drive cars, the new illegal technology. Parents would complain to law enforcement and plot different ways to try and dissuade their children in town meetings.
The youth revolt anyhow, buying gasoline from 'dealers' and participating in street races to gain respect amongst their peers.
One driver in particular rises through the ranks and gets to race and beat the big dealer, finding out he is the owner of the first car and had access to a limitless supply gasoline.
He owned the entire society of street racing, and offers the driver the throne.
Cut back to society, a family sits for dinner, and the king of the races joins as the father. Zoom out to beginning, with society running normal.
